    • Adah married Delta B. Howell (although marriage certificate says "Hawkins") in 1905 in Jackson Co., MO. They separated (perhaps divorced) and Adah listed herself as "widow" for the following years, but Delta B. Howell lived a number of more years and remarried (to a woman named Elizabeth and had a daughter Juanita). He moved to Illinois and was a trader & manufacturer in pottery and held a patent on pottery glazing.

Delta & Adah Howell are in the 1910 US Census for Jackson Co., MO

Adah, listed as widowed, was living by herself in Pettis Co., MO in 1920 US Census
Adah was living with her brother Arthur in Carthage, MO in the 1930 US Census

Adah was a dressmaker, shown as "divorced," and died when her house burned (2532 Troost Street) in Kansas City in 1945.
