SPRINKLES, NELL ROSE VAN HOOK, 78, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, July 23, 2006. She was surrounded by loving family as her life gracefully came to an end. She was born in Somerset, KY to Oscar and Esther (Price) Van Hook on December 28, 1927. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leonard A. Sprinkles. She is survived by her loving children, L. Daniel (Annie Eagan) Sprinkles of North Yarmouth, ME, Donna S. (David) Haskins of Celebration, Shirley S. Morlock of Wheaton, IL; grandchildren, David P. Haskins, Jr., Christine M. (Daniel) O'Rourke, Jonathan D. Haskins, Rachel A. Sprinkles, Michelle A. Morlock and Jack A. Morlock; great grandson, Lane W. O'Rourke; sister, Anna Pearl Nichols; brothers, Samuel Van Hook, Joseph Carrol (Fern) Van Hook and a host of other relatives and friends. Her children wish to express their gratitude to the supportive medical and pastoral communities during the last several months of their mother's life. These include the staffs of MD Anderson Cancer Center, Hospice of the Comforter and members of her church community and friends. Donations may be made to the Hospice of the Comforter, 480 West Central Pkwy., Altamonte Springs, FL 32711. A visitation will be today from 6-8PM at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home and one hour prior to her funeral on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at 10AM at Dover Shores Baptist Church, 551 Gaston Foster Rd., Orlando. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
